Behind the Design: Sue Faulkingham

MidCoast Kitchen & Bath would still be just an idea without Sue. She was the missing piece that made it all possible. With over 25 years of experience in the building industry and nearly a decade in kitchen and bath design, Sue brings a rare combination of deep industry knowledge, creativity, and warmth to everything she does.

She’s known for her attention to detail and the way she puts people at ease from the very first meeting. Sue has a natural ability to listen closely, understand her clients’ goals, and guide them through the design process with care and honesty. She’s not afraid to dig into the technical side, and if there’s ever something she doesn’t know, she’ll find the answer. Her customers consistently rave about her thoughtfulness, her hard work, and how easy she makes the process.

Sue’s specialty is in kitchen design and tile work, and she has a knack for making spaces both functional and beautiful. Whether it’s a classic coastal kitchen or a spa-like shower, she goes the extra mile to make sure every detail is just right.

Outside of work, Sue enjoys spending time with her family and soaking in all that coastal Maine has to offer. You’ll often find her in her flower and vegetable gardens, tending to her honeybees, or heading out on an adventure with her husband Nick. In the winter months, they love to travel and explore National Parks together.
